She twined their fingers together, and walked with him. She could not stop smiling.
"I don't know much about mushrooms either." She confessed. "I need to talk to them, and research them. I know some like certain kinds of rot, I think?"
"Yes. And tree roots. But I spoke with some at port and I think I replicated some of their needs here," he explains. "Hoefully their brethren will give me further insights once they grow."
"I have plenty of variety that will do so, but so few do it unless it's a specific season. We could convince them that it is Glow," he teases. "They will give us a few weeks where we can explore our other options."
"I guess we'll have to say it's Glow season." Her voice was fond. "But I'm sure we could figure out a few ways we want it. We could even ask the Admiral, if we like."
"We could, but I would prefer to do it our way. The Admiral has so much on
his hands and we are all so very talented," he explains. "I know we can all
work on it."
"Mm. I'd rather do it our way anyway. It feels...better when we say we've done it ourselves, you know? Hard work paying off." She leaned her head against his shoulder. "We'll figure something out."
He laughs softly. "Aerith, you are exceptionally complimentary. But good. Do you want to explore the room a little more? I want to know where you'd like to put plants."
She looked up at him, her smile growing. It was very tempting to blush when he looked at her like that. Or...did anything, really.
"Oh yes." She said in semi mock seriousness. If she didn't keep sneaking peeks up at him, it would have been believable. "It's a good way to fall asleep. With your partner, looking at plants in bed."
"Oh yes? Would you like to try it?" he wonders, taking a step back and kissing her fingers. "We could see where your wants align with what we can do here."
"I think that'd be a good idea. If you're not busy for awhile." Her smile was soft. "Because I think we'll want to see what we can do, and what we want to do."
"Yes, of course. And I am so curious to know how comfortable the bed is for you," he says, pulling her close, an arm around her waist as he tries to walk them both back towards it.

She was very excited too. "I'd like to find out too! I love figuring out how to grow new things."

He doesn't have many lights here. Only in the bedroom and by the console.
"I wonder if we could create some bioluminescence."

"Well...I think we would nee the right kind of fungi for that to work or...oh." She wanted to smack her forehead.
"We could ask a couple of people for that. John might have some in his garden, or if Ulla understands it well enough she can sing it into being."
She considered. "Taylor might even have some glow worms even. Or...there's your beautiful plants from home. We have so many options."

He turns, gently brushing his nose against her hair. "I am so glad I found you."

She rubbed her fingers against his side. "That's just a bonus." She was teasing, just a little.

"Mm...are you feeling any better?" he wonders, standing up and taking her hand.

"You're with me. I feel so much better." She assured him.

"Plants? Oh! Then- I need to go over the whole room and look at what we have! We might need to set up some moon blooming flowers at least!"

"And, ah...we may want to...see the view from the bed sometime?"

He grins.
"Well, is it the plants you will be looking at from there? Especially if I join you?"
