[Yelena grasps the bracelet in her other hand, pressing a discreet release set into the side. It hinges open, and she pulls it free of her wrist, tapping something on the underside before she hands it to Aerith.]
Here. It just snaps closed. Don't worry, you will not set it off by accident.
[It isn't heavy at all, in the range of slightly overbuilt jewellery. Light enough that it won't hamper the movements of someone who lives and dies by her reflexes, even if she's been engaged in prolonged exertion.]
[It really did look like a chunky bracelet. Gently, she takes it, feeling it in her hands, before snapping it over her wrist so she could feel the weight of it, carefully, and slowly raising her arm, up and down.]
It feels a lot like my usual bracelets. And this is the heavier version?
It's possible. Using magic, maybe, instead of technology. The first world we stopped at after I was brought to the Barge, there were people who had stunning spells, and enchanting items to deliver them quickly is a logical next step.
[She had, in fact, tried to get just such an enchanted item, but the commission process would have lasted much longer than their time in that world.]

[She pauses a moment, then clarifies:]
For contemporary designs. There are older versions that are heavier than the ones I use, but the technology has come a long way over the years.

[Thankfully they have the safety on, and she lightly brushed her fingers over the bracelets, careful to not press anything.]
I wonder if they would have made these in my world too. Not exactly the same type but...similar. Maybe not.
[It does make her think of the Turks, especially with their usually gloved state.]

They'd need slots, and the materia for it, and then...they could do spells, with whoever wears it.
Tifa wears gloves like that. No stunning spells though, that I know about.
