I am not 'excited.' I am interested in accomplishing worthwhile and valuable tasks that would improve everyone's lives, and I was under the mistaken belief that others here were similarly interested.

I think we're misunderstanding one another here. My fault. By excited, I mean you're eager for this project and the implications of raising our standard of living.

Some people may not see it the same way because...well, they don't see this as a long term journey. Or that contributing means that by agreeing they deserve to be here.

Pride is a prickly thing.

It will save me from one fall. The material is brittle; high-impact damage absorption but at a cost.

In that case, it might be a better idea for me to cast a barrier spell on you.

It can reduce the damage without the possibility of brittle armor piercing your insides. That'd be messy.
