Good question! What's good for horse racing? Because Chocobos have talons, so they can dig their claws into the ground when they run.

Horses aren't much use in very steep or unsteady terrain. You'd use donkeys or just fly if you're any way into the mountains. Would hills or plains be better?

Hmm...I think plains would be better. Easier for an out and out race...where I might lose to you. And your horse.

Can you do mounted archery from a chocobo?

Oh, I think it'd still be fair. Even playing field events. If it was, say, sand, then I think it's be harder.

[She's so excited as she makes her way to the Enclosure. She's played around with it before, but nothing like this. No wonder she's bouncy as she waves to her friend.]

[He's made lots of use of the enclosure, and is almost used to the magic of it now. He's more conscious about his decision to pull out his one decent set of robes, the ones he liberated from the wardrobe for mid-autumn. He tells himself it's practical. He learned to ride in split skirts and loose trousers, and you can't wear bracers with a hoodie.

But also, if he's putting on a show for the honor of horse-kind, and doing something as homey as bolting around on horseback, he feels he should look the part. His hair's even up! It... makes him look a lot more dead.]

[She was dressed as she usually did with a long dress with a slit. She could ride a horse or a chocobo easy enough!

But she beamed at Wen Ning, enjoying the robes and the hair up. Maybe it showed off the veins but she didn't care. She has her staff, but she had it in the crook of her arm.]

Do you need anything special to ride? Saddles and... things?

[There are different styles of horseback riding. There may be just as many for giant birds.]

Saddle and bridle! Though no need for sidesaddle. The bridle goes over the beak- actually, I can write it in once you're done.

That way we can have more than just yellow chocobos! What colors do you like?

Yellow, blue, green, black, and gold!

Gold is pretty rare, yellow is pretty common.

Just... fur colors. Usually black and brown.

All of ours at home were black. It got a little boring.
